What prompted it

A Git repo deletion that wiped gigabytes of data and could have sunk production.

What Grok Bot did

  1. Wrote assessment scripts to find the cause.
  2. Developed a rebuild strategy.
  3. Tested the restored repo and the service, which it had also built.

Grok Bot had no direct access (“It’s still gapped for now”). The author thinks direct access would likely have made it faster.
