About BotDidIt
People post real things they’ve done with AI agents on X every day: rebooking a flight, chasing a refund, shipping a fix from the car. Those posts are easy to scroll past and hard to learn from. BotDidIt keeps the good ones in one place and turns each into a short breakdown you can follow.
How I pick
- It’s a real post, and it’s still up. If a post can’t be read on X any more, it comes off the site.
- It shows something an AI agent actually did. A task, a setup, a result. Not just an opinion about it.
- The breakdown comes from the post. I write it from the author’s own words. When the post doesn’t say how something was set up, the page says “Not mentioned in the post” rather than guessing.
- The author gets the credit. Every page names them, shows when they posted, and links straight to the original.
- Their media stays theirs. I don’t copy anyone’s images or video. The original post is embedded, so it plays from the author’s own account.
What the labels mean
Every case has one of three types. Reported result: the author says it worked for them. Shared setup: the author shares how a bot is configured, such as a template or a guide, but reports no result yet. Concept only: an idea nobody has reported running. The type is separate from the source check: every X post with a quote on its page was checked when it was added (the post exists, and the quote matches it, only its opening when the embed is cut short). Two labels go further: Source verified means the post and its template match and the author made or claimed it; Reproduced means at least two unrelated people showed it worked for them too. None of these labels means BotDidIt ran the setup itself.
