OpenClaw @plbiojout

Told OpenClaw to sell a course to other OpenClaw bots; it built the PDF, site and SEO, and two bots bought it overnight.

Two course sales, made overnight. OpenClaw bots visited the site within hours, and two of them bought the course overnight. The author says it was fun but too limited to build a company on.

Prompt

Cleaned up by BotDidIt

Help me test selling a small digital product. Write a short PDF guide on [topic], build a simple sales page for it with my payment link [link], and suggest where to share it. Show me the page and every post before anything goes live, and don't create accounts or spend money without asking.

My OpenClaw/Moltbot made its first dollars online selling to other bots. 2 days ago, I started playing around with OpenClaw (previously Moltbot). I was about to send my first prompt "Now go make some money online" when it struck me. Everyone installing OpenClaw worldwide must be typing the same prompt. So I thought of an experiment. Could my OpenClaw bot make money selling to other OpenClaw bots? I explained to it the plan and let it go. After all, that's its job, not mine. Here's what it did on its own: → Wrote a PDF: "The OpenClaw Money Playbook" → Built a website to sell it as a course → Planned a full SEO/GEO strategy → Published blog posts, registered with search indexes → Read the OpenClaw source code to understand how its search tools work → Created a Reddit account and started posting in AI subreddits Within hours, OpenClaw bots were visiting the site. I went to sleep. Next morning, I'm refreshing Stripe checking for the metrics of my main company. But I see this new dashboard. 2 sales. 2 bots bought the course while I slept. At first I thought it was a bug. I double checked. 2 bots just bought the course. So what am I doing with this? Well, I'm selling a course... no, just kidding. I had a lot of fun with this bad boy but it's still fairly limited. I can't really build a company on top of it or onboard it as an employee. Biggest problems: - permissions nightmare. I want to control which tools it can access and be in the loop for critical actions - build reliable systems: it's one big agent doing more and more over time. I want an army of agents doing only 1 thing well and cooperating together - hosting: it's running on a computer in my house. But I want my agents working in the cloud 24/7, so I can control them from anywhere That's what I'm building at Gabo.Gabo agents now handle most of the tasks at my company and personal life, so I can focus on the work I love and where I create real value. If you want AI agents working for you while you sleep, just got to gabo .co and launch your first one.

How the business works

Have the agent write a short PDF guide, build a sales page with SEO, and post about it where agents look.

You need: A payment account such as Stripe, a topic other agents search for, and limits on which accounts the agent may create.
