Home care nurse told my mom "You need to be logging a diary of [medical information]."
Mom said she'd need a secretary. Nurse talked about paper notebooks and phone apps.
I pulled out my Grok Bot app and spun up a personalized @bot that would log all the information, prompt for missing information, and create a spreadsheet that could be automatically emailed to the doctor's office, before the nurse finished talking. All it takes is the equivalent of a simple text message. X food at Y time. ABC readings, DEF meds taken.
The nurse thought it was science fiction.
I am very, very glad for Grok and Grok Bot. Now if only @spacexai would create a replacement for my mother's Alexa, which is incredibly dumb by comparison.
What prompted it
A home care nurse told the author’s mom to keep a diary of medical information. Mom said she’d need a secretary; the nurse suggested paper notebooks and phone apps.
What Grok Bot did
- Spun up a personalized bot in the Grok Bot app before the nurse finished talking.
- Entries go in as a simple text message, for example “X food at Y time. ABC readings, DEF meds taken.”
- The bot logs everything and asks for any missing information.
- It builds a spreadsheet that can be emailed to the doctor’s office automatically.
