Hermes Agent saved me!
My old Raspberry with Home Assistant -> not starting
I removed microSD, connected to Mac -> not readable
Backup -> where are they? 🤔
I asked Hermes to try to read the card and get them, I restored them in the new Home Assistant Green and... DONE!
What prompted it
The author’s old Raspberry Pi running Home Assistant wouldn’t start. The microSD card wasn’t readable when connected to a Mac, and the author didn’t know where the backups were.
What Hermes Agent did
- Took the microSD card out of the Raspberry Pi and connected it to a Mac, where it wasn’t readable.
- Asked Hermes to try to read the card and get the backups.
- Restored the backups on the new Home Assistant Green.
