I've set up a custom @spacexai Grok Bot called "Dispatch" that has access to my email, Slack, gcal, LinkedIn, and X DMs. The first of its two recurring routines are performing a nightly scan of all my DMs and convos across these apps and sending out meeting invites (gcal) to everyone involved if an event hasn't been created already (keeps everyone aligned + prevents calls being missed! This was such a huge pain point for me before. I also hate the manual process of creating a calendar invite... it's so slow and tedious (finding everyone's emails, going through 47 different modals, setting up Google Meet or Zoom links, etc.). Agh! Luckily, that's all gone now. The best part is that I don't even have to tell Dispatch about it!
Its second recurring task is to send me both a morning briefing and evening roundup to my email about any important messages, emails in my inbox, or Slack threads I may have missed (or forgotten about after I responded). Before, I'd send things to others like "Oh, yeah, I'll send you the granola notes later today", and I'd never do it! Nowadays, this type of thing never happens, and it's seriously all thanks to Grok Bot. It's saved me so many times! *It also throws in a short story with translations in the language I'm learning (at the moment, Bulgarian) as well as frontier AI + robotics news in my morning briefing email so I can get a quick lesson in and stay up-to-date!

- Each night, Dispatch scans the author’s DMs and conversations across these apps.
- If a call was agreed and no event exists yet, it sends a Google Calendar invite to everyone involved, without being asked.
- Each morning and evening, it emails the author about important messages, emails or Slack threads the author may have missed, or forgotten after replying.
- The morning email also includes a short story with translations in the language the author is learning (Bulgarian for now), plus frontier AI and robotics news.
