Four bots that changed my output: Inbox Manager, Calendar EA, Intel Scout, and Bot Boss as the single front door.
What you need
- Connected apps
- Email, Slack, DMs, calendar and meeting notes.
- Routines
- Inbox Manager runs on weekdays at 9:05 and 4:05; Intel Scout runs on weekdays at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Each schedule starts out disabled until you hit Enable.
What prompted it
Hundreds of messages across several inboxes, a calendar other people keep filling, and decisions made in channels the author never read.
What Grok Bot did
- Inbox Manager reads every email, Slack message and DM in read-only mode and escalates only the few items that are both important and urgent.
- Calendar EA protects focus blocks, flags conflicts and pickup collisions, and drafts reschedules and invites only after you confirm.
- Intel Scout sends a brief twice a day: company moves that affect you, open follow-ups and what you need before upcoming meetings.
- Bot Boss is the single front door: the other three report to it, and it routes your questions to the right bot.
Watch out for
- Three bots pinging separately added to the mental load; Bot Boss was added to fix that.
- Inbox Manager is read-only by default and never sends anything unless the author types “send” at that moment.
