Kevin Niparko
For the first time, a PM can have a team that reports to them. Attention lists, shipping software, and the bots I actually run.
What you need
- Connected apps
- Plugins for the tools where customer context lives (the guide names Granola, Gong, Databricks, Plain or Intercom, and Notion). For anything without an MCP, authenticate on the VM.
- Routines
- Hourly: rebuild the attention list from email, Slack, Granola and the calendar.
What prompted it
Priority lists go stale within a day, and PMs don’t usually have anyone reporting to them.
What Grok Bot did
- A Chief of Staff bot follows your attention across Slack, email and meetings and maintains the attention list.
- Other agents use that list as a filter, for example archiving emails that don’t match it.
- A research bot answers product questions from raw customer data.
- An eng-manager bot breaks work down and delegates it to engineer bots that run cloud agents.
Watch out for
- The author says there is a learning curve.
- The author keeps final review over external emails, purchases and destructive actions such as deletes.
